Have taught up to 75 students per week, and have taught in several music schools in Laval and the West Island, as well as teaching guitar and recorder in a private school as classroom music teacher. Currently playing in a jazz/soul quintet in and around Montreal.
Teaching & Other Details
I try to make lessons fun, and relaxed, yet still achieve specific goals. My experience has taught me that not everyone learns in the same way, or has the same goals, so I tailor my lessons to my students abilities and goals. Overall, I try to give all the tools one needs to be an accomplished guitarist, from reading, technique, improvisation, to theory and composition for those interested. I take my students from complete beginner to CEGEP and University preparation if they choose that route.
Availability
My schedule varies, but in general I teach Monday-Friday early afternoon until 9:30 p.m.
Preferred Teaching Place
Lessons are at my home studio in Pointe-Claire.
