Professional Experience
I have been teaching modern flute and baroque flute for about twenty years. Prior to its closing, I was happy to be part of the McGill Conservatory team. I have successfully guided many students through exams, ensemble auditions, and University auditions. I have taught masterclasses in Canada, Mexico and the United States - recently at the National Flute Association conventions in Phoenix and San Antonio.
Teaching & Other Details
I tailor my approach according to the needs and interests of each student. With younger students, I provide structure with Trevor Wye's methods or RCM. With more advanced and adult students, we agree on repertoire together while working to improve technical foundations.
Availability
Monday through Friday afternoons, Saturday mornings
Preferred Teaching Place
I teach from my home and I am able to teach online if needed.
