A full time professional musician in my youth, I have been teaching for more than 40 years. I have taught at York, McMaster, Sheridan, and Humber, and in my personal drum studio. My approach is based mainly on the teachings of Jim Blackley, which is jazz-oriented, but I'm glad to help someone master a blast beat.

Teaching & Other Details
I have an agenda for a student's development, but I tailor my material to the student's needs. I look for 'buy in' and that comes about most easily when the student can relate to what I'm offering. I want to ensure that what I'm presenting will help students meet their own goals as well as mine.
Availability
I limit my teaching to one student per day. My schedule is flexible.
