Music Background & Credentials
Classically trained strings musician with years of learning experience. Do NOT have a diploma/teaching certificate. But am very confident in my skills seeing my past students excel quickly. Am willing to receive a LOWER WAGE due to lack of diploma.
Professional Experience
Two years, four different students. Lessons have took place at mine or their homes. All students have shown quick, marked improvement and sustained interest.
Teaching & Other Details
Music theory is a MUST-LEARN in my lessons. I believe this is the best long-run approach to mastering not only one instrument, but a family of instruments. I like to incorporate numbers into my teaching. Ex: chord progression of C-Am-F-G would be 1-6-4-5, as this is the order they fall under the key of C.This helps understanding EVERY key better simultaneously, rather than just sticking onto one key at a time, saving time and being more efficient both as a teacher and student.
Availability
Mondays anytime, Tuesdays after 3pm, Wednesdays-Fridays after 5:30pm.
Preferred Teaching Place
Preferably at my home, or students home if its within reasonable distance. I am not too picky in this regard.
