I'm a professional musician with over 40 years of performance experience.
Music Background & Credentials
Went through the standard Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto programme years ago and didn't graduate.
Professional Experience
Currently, I have fun and accompany a mezzo soprano as well as a violinist. I also play in contemporary dance bands/groups. I do have experience teaching adult students (years ago). As a young man I played percussion in various concert bands and orchestras, played drums in various dance bands.
Teaching & Other Details
As I am familiar only with the RCM approach, this is what I'd lean towards. However, given the opportunity, I'd be interested in any modern teaching method out there!
Availability
I'm available weekends and evenings - as I'm retired but have a "full-time, part-time job" as a charter bus driver.
Preferred Teaching Place
I would be happy to teach at home but out suite is minuscule. Teaching at a community centre or some music facility would be fine.
