Teaching & Other Details
I strongly believe that enthusiam of the pedagogue is as important as his/her expertise in the discipline of music. I cultivate confidence and appreciation for music in my students while expanding their knowledge and providing them with useful technical tools. In piano I have solid musical background stemming from traditional russian school. I like to teach some basic theory to beginner students in piano as to develop curiosity and general understanding of principles of music harmony. For singers I will emphasize the importance of breath control and good posture and use variety of exercises to help the students expand their range and reach their full potential. I carefully choose repertoire to meet individual abilities of my students, making sure it is appropriate to their level of development.
Availability
I am very flexible during the summer, starting september available on weekends and evenings in London, Ontario and on weekends only in GTA
