Peter is a celebrated tenor saxophonist and master of various woodwind instruments, including baritone, alto, soprano saxophones, clarinet, and bass clarinet. With 16 albums to his name, he has performed at renowned jazz festivals and clubs across Europe, Russia, South Korea, and the USA, collaborating with legends like Scott Hamilton and Dr. Lonnie Smith. Currently at the forefront of the jazz scene, Peter is generating excitement for his upcoming Canadian-Polish jazz project, “Chopin Pianoless,” set to release as an e-album in early 2025. https://www.oddsoundmusique.com/ His musical journey started at age 12 with the clarinet, and by 17, he was playing the saxophone, making his professional debut at just 21. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Music at York University and has nearly 30 years of experience as a music educator, inspiring students through International Jazz Workshops. After relocating to Canada, he effectively guided students through the Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate Program, achieving success in clarinet, saxophone, and music theory. Passionate about jazz improvisation, Peter helps students of all ages thrive on woodwind instruments across genres ranging from jazz to hip-hop. Each program is personalized to align with the student’s age, musical ability, and goals. Teaching since 1989 - private saxophone lessons. 2000 - 2009, International jazz workshops - saxophone classes, jazz improvisation and combos. 2013-2015, private music schools in Toronto area. 2015 - 2017, Graduate Assistant at York University, saxophone instructor with YorkU big-band. Also recording artist (16 albums) and performing musician . The last album, Peter Cieslikowski Quartet - „Chopin Pianoless” will be released in January 2025.
