Professional Experience
I am a highly experienced guitar player and teacher specializing in contemporary styles. I have released a solo instrumental album to critical acclaim, and have toured throughout the USA, Canada and UK. I was a Top 7 Finalist in Guitar Idol, an international guitar talent competition designed to showcase the top emerging guitarists on the planet. 7 guitarists were chosen from around the world to compete in a live final event in London, England, based on playing technique and composition skill. I have also made appearances as a guest instructor on Guitareo.
Teaching & Other Details
I have a personalized approach to teaching - my lessons are based around London College of Music graded curricula, but the repertoire and skill-building pieces you study are hand-picked to match your musical style preferences. For example, a rock student and a jazz student will both learn the same theory, harmony, and technique fundamentals, but they will learn pieces and specialized techniques that relate most closely to their preferred style.
